Cox Industries, Inc. expanding Orangeburg County operations

(December 30, 2014) Columbia, SC - Cox Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of treated outdoor wood products, is expanding its Orangeburg County operations. The company is investing $11.2 million to expand and upgrade its facilities in Eutawville, Bowman, Orangeburg and Branchville, S.C. The investment is expected to create 60 new jobs over the next five years.

Peak Corporation to establish U.S. manufacturing operations in Clarendon County

Kiswire, Inc. to commence second phase of Newberry County expansion

(November 24, 2014) COLUMBIA, S.C. Kiswire Inc., a manufacturer of steel cord and bead wire, is commencing the second phase of its Newberry County expansion. This phase, a $30 million investment, is expected to result in 45 new jobs in Newberry, S.C. The first phase of Kiswire Inc. Steel Cord Division, announced in January 2013, represented a $15 million investment and 30 new jobs, which came to fruition when production began at its new manufacturing site in December of last year.
